Later that day, Austin, Alex, and I went to the park. At the park, Austin and Alex pushed me on the tire swing till I felt like puking, which wasn't long. Then we partied on a spinning jungle gym while Alex was in some type of character mode and acted like a 5 year old the whole time. Austin just sat there wondering why they were friends and me just laughing. That made me realize that Alex is just a fun person, hes got a crazy side, then a cool normal one. Which made me think that were going to be good friends.
After a while, the park got boring since half of the things there, we couldn't fit in.
"What's there to do?" Alex said.
"We could...shoot some hoops?" Austin replied, "You want to Allie?"
"Is that a challenge?" I said.
"Ohhh! Somethings about to go downnn!" Alex said.
"You got that right." I said while trying not to laugh.
When we got back to Austin's house, we started playing knockout. It was Austin's turn when he shot the ball and it bounced off the rim, smacking my face. Austin rushes over and apolgizes about 50 times while Alex got ice.
"Allie! I'm soo sorry. Are you ok???" Austin asks with a worried tone in his voice.
"It's fine, i swear. I just need some ice." I say.
"Are you sure??"
"Yes, i'm ok..but.." I tried to finish but I got cut off by Alex giving me ice and asking if I was ok.
I wish Alex could leave for just a little bit so I could talk to Austin, I thought to myself, but I guess it can wait.
"What were going to say Allie?" Austin said curiously.
"I'll tell you tonight..nevermind for now..." I said.
"I feel the need to add this like it's a TV show, soo, 'OHHHHH!'" Alex said jokingly.

Chapter 4- *Ding Dong* Anybody home?
A day after our "bet", Austin put up the YouTube video of us. I was surprised to find out that alot of people liked my singing, and they wanted more videos from me. I had to thank Austin, because it's the least I could do.
I ran over to Austin's and rang the doorbell. Surprised, his friend Alex answered.
"Hey..is Austin here?" I said.
"Yeah he's upstairs, he just wanted me to answer because he was getting ready." Alex replied.
"Ohh... I guess it wait."
"Here..hold on... I'll get him."
I stood in the entry and waited for Alex to get him. In about a minute, Austin came down.
"Hey" Austin said while walking down the stairs.
"Hey..is this a bad time?" I said.
"Nah, I'm just chillin' with Alex, he won't mind. He actually asked if you wanted to hangout with us. Wanna?"
"Sure, why not." I said, "Oh i almost forgot, I just wanted to thank you because alot of those views are from people who liked me. They even said they wanted to see me sing more!"
"Allie, that's awesome!" Austin said, going in for a hug.
Alex walked down the stairs while we were hugging and said , "Ohhhh! Get some!!"
Austin laughed then chased Alex around the house while I sat there laughing. It reminded me of what I used to do with him, which made me laugh even more.
Eventually, they stopped and sat right next to me.
"Sooo..HEY! I'm Alex! You must be Allie." Alex said happily, "Austin talks alot about you."
"Well hi, I'm Allie." I said, more focused on what Austin said about me.
Soon enough, I found myself only thinking about Austin. How good he sings, how funny and nice he is, how I can be myself around him, how cute he is, and everything else that is good.

Chapter 3- Reunited, FINALLY!
After I beat Austin in basketball, he asked if i wanted to hangout tomorrow. Of course, I said ok because I didn't want things to change again. When my mom called me in, we hugged goodnight and went inside. I did the first thing a teenage girl would do, facebook and tweet about my life! I was scrolling down the recent posts and I saw Austin's status as, " One of the best nights I've had in a long time (; "
This made my day about a hundred times better. To know my best friend is back, is one of the best feelings right now. Wanting tomorrow, I want to bed early.
I woke up the the morning from the sound of a new voice mail. I called my voicemail, and I heard Austin's voice singing to me. He told me to call him when I got up so that we could hangout all day...if I wanted to. I got ready super fast, but tried to look my best. I walked out of my house singing super loud, to find Austin in his driveway texting. Embarrassed, I stopped and sat next to him.
"Allie, don't stop- you're a really good singer." Austin said.
Surprised, I replied. "Really? Never thought so... but ok. Not as good as you."
"Nahh, you're better."
"You know we could do that for hours?" I said
"We could..or we could let the YouTubers decide..?" Austin replied
"Like a video of us singing together and asking who's better?"
"Yeah, like a duet."
"Aight, but they're going to say your better because of your looks, and you are better."
"We'll seeeeee..." Austin said with a smirk on his face.
We headed upstairs to Austin's room where he recorded songs. His room was exactly how I remembered it, even with my card I made him for his 5th birthday hanging up. That made be blush, which was really obvious, so I sat down on his bed, petting Romo.
"He missed you.." Austin said. "And so did I."
"Well I'm here now." I said with a smile.

Chapter 2- Don't close the curtains on me, not this time.
When Austin and me were best friends, he'd always walk with me on and off the bus. When one of us was sick, we'd wait for each other on the sidewalk, waiting to tell each others' stories. The first day Austin was home schooled, I was off of school. I wanted to be outside so that maybe Austin would notice me. So i grabbed a basketball and headed out on the street where the hoop was. I looked into his window, and there he was staring at me. Knowing he was looking, I got a feeling in my stomach that I couldn't explain. It almost felt like I was in love or something. But then i thought to myself, why would I be in love with a guy who totally forgot about me? but we know so much about each other, and it would make sense if i had some sort of feelings for him. I sat there wrestling with my conscience, not knowing what I should feel. I decided to shake it off with some basketball. Showing my best moves off, so that it made me look like I was ok, would do the trick. I was going for a lay-up, and i fell, face flat, scraping practically all my legs and arms. I lay there, determining whether i should get up or call for help. Soon enough, I sat up to see Austin with a wet towel and bandages, rushing to me. I didn't know whether to act embarrassed or hurt, so i just sat there, waiting for Austin to talk.
"Oww... Are you ok?" Austin said while putting the wet towel on my arm.
Jokingly I said, "Yeah, sure, just alot of scrapes and blood. I'll walk it off."
"Well have no fear! Dr. Mahone is here!"
I couldn't help but laugh, the tone of voice he used was just unbearable not to laugh at. Then I thought whether if I should act mad or just keep the conversation going. I couldn't make up my mind so I let Austin finish helping me and see where the conversation went.
"Aight, we'll your all done." Austin said
"Thanks for helping me.." I said
"No prob., it's the least I can do."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well... I realized that I was a jerk. I saw you crying that one day... I felt really bad for not saying anything, mostly because I knew it was about me... I'm sorry Allie. I miss those toddler times, but I don't know if this apologie will make up for it. But do you wanna pick up where we left off?"
I couldn't believe what he was saying. Those words were what I wanted to hear for a long time. It was actually really sweet, which made me like him even more.
"Be ready to be crushed because this boss is taking you down." I said.
Soon enough, Austin and I were playing; just like old times.

Chapter 1-Neighbors First
Me and Austin go way back, practically since we were babies. We would always race, party with a sprinkler, and just do what little kids do. Ever since kindergarten, we've had each others back: in school, at the park, or just anywhere. A boy would pick on me, Austin would be there to call him out. A girl would annoy Austin, I'd be there to tell her to leave. We fought each others battles, just like best friends do.
But, the friendship started to change in sixth grade, when Austin got cute. He'd always have girls following him around, texting him, flirting, and were always trying to get his attention. With all that, he barely had anytime for me. We started drifting apart, until, one day i found myself crying because I had completely lost my best friend. But of course, Austin loved all the attention and didn't notice a thing. There came a point when I was be practicing some basketball outside, and he didn't even notice. The wrong thing about that is he always noticed. He'd usually come running out, take the ball from me and shoot, then I'd take it back and we'd play one on one. Then he stopped; forever.
What was even worse is when he put YouTube videos up. He got cocky at school, and even more girls loved him. I would pass him in the hall, and he didn't take one look at me. It was like I wasn't good enough because I wasn't falling all over him. That was until the day Austin decided to be home schooled. I heard that he couldn't take the popularity anymore because it got out of handle. When i heard this, I was happy, and sad. The reason I was happy is that maybe he'd get time for me now, but i was sad because he didn't mention one word to me about it.
